Digital Poster Making Competition

The Department of Arabic, NCAS Puliyavu, conducted a Digital Poster Making Competition on 23rd June 2025 at the college auditorium in connection with Reading Day.

Students participated enthusiastically, creating posters that highlighted the importance of reading and literacy. The competition encouraged creativity and digital skills among the participants.

Entries were evaluated by faculty members based on design, clarity, and relevance to the theme.

 USER ORIENTATION PROGRAMME 2025, NCAS LIBRARY

      The User Orientation Programme of the NCAS Library was successfully conducted from 29th July 2025 to 4th August 2025 for the newly admitted students of various departments. The programme aimed to introduce students to the library’s collections, services, facilities, and rules, thereby helping them make effective use of library resources for their academic pursuits.

  During the orientation Ms Drishya K M ,Librarian guided the students. The students were introduced to the layout of the library, including the circulation section, reference section, reading area, periodical section ,The rules and regulations of the library and the procedures for borrowing and returning books, NDLi Registration to students , The importance of maintaining silence and discipline inside the library premises.

  The programme helped create awareness among students about the effective use of library resources and encouraged them to make full use of the facilities available.

• Shared second and third semester examination result report. 

• Few behavioural concerns were raised, especially regarding the issue of late coming 

• Interaction between parents, class tutors and subject teachers was done. 

• There was a discussion on student’s performance, students discipline in classrooms and their attendance percentage in the previous semester. 

Suggestions 

• Maintain strictness and discipline, particularly in addressing late comers. 

• Encourage active participation of students in both academic and cocurricular activities. 

• Maintain proper communication between parents and teachers.

• Parents gained a better understanding of student’s academic progress and area of improvement

One day Workshop on Basic Instrumentation Techniques at INNATE ANALYTICS Vadakara

 The second year Biochemistry students participated in a one day workshop titled on"Basic Instrumentation Techniques" at Innate Analytics Labzone,Vatakara on 20.06.2025.They familiarised different equipments and live demonstration with analytical instruments.All participated students received a certificate of participation.

JUNE 19 NATIONAL READING DAY CELEBRATION

 

Reading Day & Week Celebration 2025 

National College of arts and science celebrated National Reading day with a series of engaging literary events organized by ‘Sahiti’Sahithyavedi and College Library. The celebrations commenced with a warm welcome speech by Manmadhan HOD of Malayalam dept. , followed by a presidential address by Principal Dr. Basheer Kotta. The event was officially inaugurated by Vayaloli Kunjabhudulla, Chairman of the College Management Trust. Chief guest of the programme was M. Musthafa master (Retd. Headmaster) a playback singer and a motivational speaker . A series of literary activities were organized to promote reading habits and literary appreciation among students. A Sahithya Quiz was conducted on 19th June 2025, focusing on Malayalam and world literature. Students from various classes participated. On 20th June 2025, a Book Review Competition was held, where students submitted reviews of their favorite books.
