THIRD SEMESTER B.COM TAXATION PARENTS TEACHER MEETING REPORT 

The parent teachers meeting for the third semester B.Com taxation students was conducted on 12th June 2025 to discuss student’s academic progress, behaviourdiscuss strength and areas of improvement and to build a strong communication between teachers and parents. The parents were intimated about the meeting through parents official group well in advance by class tutor.

Objective of the meeting 

• To share detailed information about second semester examination result, discipline, attendance and student’s academic performance.
• To encourage open communication between parents and teachers to address concerns, share ideas and provide feedback. 
• Foster a collaborative relationship between parents, teachers and students 
• To inform parents about student’s strength, weakness and area of improvement 
• To set goals and expectation for student’s development.

Key discussion and observations 

• 12 parents attended the meeting. The remaining parents informed their inconvenience. 
• Shared second semester examination result report. 
• Few behavioural concerns were raised, especially regarding the issue of late coming 
• Interaction between parents, class tutors and subject teachers was done. 
• There was a discussion on student’s performance, students discipline in classrooms and their attendance percentage in the previous semester. 
• Introduced Embase software to parents that shares digital attendance. 

Suggestions 

• Maintain strictness and discipline, particularly in addressing late comers. 
• Encourage active participation of students in both academic and cocurricular activities. 
• Encouraged the use of Embase software for tracking student’s attendance. Outcome and benefits 
• Parents gained a better understanding of student’s academic progress and area of improvement 
• Teachers and parents collaborated to identify strategies for improving discipline and attendance. 
• Improved communication between parents, teachers and students.
